To research on mechanical property in large-section highway tunnel, this articleinvestigated the weight bearing about surrounding rock and support system of large-sectiontunnel, which based on the Ma’anshan tunnel of Guilai Highway in Guangxi ZhuangAutonomous Reigon, burying pressure cells, rebar indicator, concrete strain gauge and othercomponents in three sections of different conditions. And to have a comprehensive study ofload characteristic and deformation laws, this article applied with numerical simulation inthe three different sections, and comparing the data between field experiment and numericalsimulation. Then analysis the stability of rock and supporting system, valued the design andconstruction.Combine the results of field measurements and finite element analysis software tocalculate the results, summarize the load characteristics and deformation laws of the tunnelto provide a scientific basis and guidance for the construction, to ensure the safety of theconstruction.The application of the results of this study provide the theoretical basis for design andconstruction experience to the Wushaoling tunnel construction of the project, but also fortunnel construction under the follow-up similar engineering geological conditions, andtherefore has a good reference value.
