| With the rapid development of new energy vehicle technology, certain performances ofelectric vehicle (EV) have approached or even exceeded traditional vehicle. Therefore,electric formula vehicle came into being. The research of electric formula is an effective wayto reflect the industry development level of a nation, to promote development of integrateddisciplines which is related with EV, to improve people’s recognition to EV and promote theupgrade of EV industry. The research for electric formula of good performance and highreliability is of great importance.Energy storage system is a limitation to electric formula, at the same time, consideringrequirement of dynamic performance, synergic power system is researched and tested basedon Formula Student China (FSC) electric vehicle in the paper.The components of power device including battery, super capacitor and DC/DC powerconverter. The characteristics of them were studied and the mathematical model of synergicpower was built. According to different driving condition of electric formula, operatingcondition of synergic power device can be conclude as battery discharging only, supercapacitor discharging only, battery and super capacitor discharging together and chargingwhen brake so as to improve dynamic performance of electric formula, recover brakingenergy furthest, and mitigate the impact to battery charge or discharge with large current.Fuzzy control strategy was designed based on the thought and theory of fuzzy math, andsynergic power model was simulated with Matlab/Simulink software. Simulation resultsshowed that dynamic performance of electric formula can be improved and the battery lifespan can also be prolonged with synergic power device installed. Finally, the test bed ofpowertrain based on synergic power was also designed. The test bed consisted of battery,super capacitor, DC/DC power converter, main controller, motor controller, motor, sensor,signal processing circuit and display interface. Driving control software which is to distributemotor power was also designed, and the data of operating condition can also be displayed.The experiment results were similar with the simulation results. Synergic power device isbetter than single power device.The paper is of great importance to improve research level of controlling for electricformula vehicle dynamic system based on synergic power system. |
