In recent years, with the vigorous development of economic construction andinfrastructure, transportation volume showed a rising trend, while also continue to showtraffic safety issues, particularly issues such as vehicle rollover will cause to happen heavycasualties,therefore been widespread concern in society, the safety performance of vehiclesrequires further improved. Previous studies on roll stability of the vehicle mostly from theperspective of suspension, the study of electro-hydraulic power steering (EHPS) is primarilythe study of its modeling, energy analysis, structural analysis,the working principle and otheraspects.This paper attempts to discuss the influence of the electro-hydraulic power steeringsystem to the vehicle roll stability. Of electro-hydraulic power steering system has beenblocked, and were a mathematical model and the overall model of each part; but alsoestablished a mathematical model of the vehicle three degrees of freedom. Finally in Matlab/simulink software were set up their simulation model, and they combined for simulation,analysis of key parameters of electro-hydraulic power steering (EHPS)-Motor pumpdisplacement, torsion stiffness, valve port area and the piston area and speed manipulationaffect the stability of the vehicle.Simulation process, by changing the values of these parameters, by comparing thedifferences between them, to observe its effect on vehicle roll stability analysis of theseparameters on the stability of the vehicle roll mode and effect size. Through this researchmethod to improve vehicle handling and stability, and to the design of electro-hydraulicpower steering system better.
