In recent years, with the improvement of people’s living standards, the new householdheating and hot water systems gradually entering people’s home. Solar water heaters developedrapidly and Freon disabled also contributed to the increase of trans-critical CO2heat pump waterheater, but with the advent of solar assisted heat pump system, the two complementary featuresmore attracted the attention of researchers. So this paper will make a coupled analysis of trans-critical carbon dioxid heat pump and solar water heater systems.A villa is taken for an example in this paper, the main purpose of the research is to comparethe performance differences of CO2heat pump system with the solar hot water system in thefield of building heating hot water. Firstly, DeST-h is used to calculate and analyze the dynamicheating load and hot water load in a whole year. Also MEDPHA database is used to calculatethe size of the solar radiation on the collector plane under optimal inclination state Xi’an inorder to get the heat load distribution of the building, domestic hot water and heat consumptionin the area of solar energy distribution of the allocation throughout the year. Then trans-criticalCO2heat pump performance and the performance of solar collectors were analyzed to have theway to know their performance. For the nature of the target architecture, load distribution and personnel rest condition, fourways of coupling solar hot water system with trans-critical CO2heat pump system wereproposed. Then the performance and economical nature of the system were analyzed, which theresults show that: full use of solar heating systems program applies to rich solar energyresources, or where there are strict environmental requirements; Solar and heat pump systemare good for areas where are always cold and areas those are hot in summer and cold in winter; If tandem solar systems are used in cold regions or sufficient cold regions, the advantages willbe more obvious. The dual heat coupling system with40%of the solar energy is very flexible, and its energy efficiency and economic indicators are relatively average.
