Bus network communication system is an important part of the missileelectrical system, more and more missile weapon system complete it’s flight controlinstruction and test data transmission through the bus network. The1553B bus andthe CAN bus which are usually used in missile weapon system can not meet theneeds of multi-stage missile control system, optical fiber bus with high-speed,high-reliability, high anti-interference advantages applied to multi-stage missileweapon system has become the future trend.Existing optical fiber bus standard has problems of small number,fragmentation and poor usability, can not meet the application of multi-stage missilecontrol system. This paper presents a real-time high-speed optical fiber busimplementation, detailed design were made from aspects of the overall architecture,network topology, the underlying network and the optical transceiver module.Then, the high-speed real-time optical fiber bus IP core design are mainlyelaborated. Optical fiber bus IP core is the most important part of the bus protocolrealization, FPGA is used to conduct timing protocol control. IP core designinvolves data buffering, protocol storage management, memory interface, CPUinterface and configuration management needs, and has BC operation mode, RToperation mode, BM operation mode. The main function of each module areachieved by state machine.Finally, the star+tree topology bus structure are chosen to be the final solution,real-time high-speed opticical fiber bus system is conducted, and opticaltransceivers, optical coupler and part function of IP Core are tested, verifying thefeasibility of the high-speed real-time optical fiber bus for multi-stage missilecontrol system.
