With the rapid development of urbanization and people’s quality of life pursuit is increasing day by day, also people’s requirement for thermal comfort of buildings is increasing。Building energy consumption increased with the economic growth.the air conditioning energy consumption accounts for a considerable part of building energy consumption. At present, it’s very important to research how to comprehensive apply the large temperature difference technology to the air conditioning system, optimize the air conditioning system reasonable, and realize the air conditioning system high efficiency and energy saving. so it’s significance to the development and popularize of the large temperature difference technology in the future.This paper analyzed the chilled water large temperature difference technology applied to the3.1customer service center’s air conditioning system of China mobile’s southern base. Based on the energy analyzed between7℃(6.5/13.5℃) chilled water design to others chilled water system, the results show that, chiller COP refrigeration coefficient were reduced gradually with the increase of chilled water temperature difference, the main impact of energy consumption after applied the large temperature difference technology were chillers and chilled water pump. the evaporation temperature decreases with the chilled water temperature increased, and result in an increase in energy consumption of chiller. at the same time chilled water pump energy consumption decreased because of the chilled water decreased. So the operation of chilled water large temperature difference technology has its applicable scope. Only the chilled water pump’s energy reduced consumption is greater than the energy consumption of chillers increased, can reflect the value in its application in practical engineering.The Engineering example applied in7℃(6.5/13.5℃) chilled water large temperature difference system, the results shows that:under full load operation condition the water chiller’s energy consumption per unit mass refrigerating capacity increased only0.003kW/kW than conventional energy consumption in5℃(7/12℃), but old water pump energy consumption reduced by42.9%,because of the chilled water to reduce28.57%, chilled water pump energy consumption decreased0.009kW/kW, chilled water system comprehensive unit mass refrigerating capacity decreased0.006kW/kW. Through economical comparison found that:compared between7℃(6.5/13.5℃)and regular5℃(7/12℃), chilled water system energy consumption has fallen sharply, decreased3.48million kWh, the chiller operation energy consumption increased from86.5%to86.5%, chilled water pump power consumption dropped by13.5%to8.1%. For cold water system operation cost reduced from79.398million yuan to75.217million yuan,4.181million yuan has been saved.The calculation results show that the engineering case applied in7℃(6.5/13.5℃) large temperature difference technology chilled water can reduce the energy consumption of air conditioning system feasible and effective.
