The passing through bulkhead was used for passing through the bulkhead of the ship to ensure the hermeticism. The passing through bulkhead joint with the bulkhead by weld method,so the vibration of the tube would directly passed to the bulkhead by passing through bulkhead and made the bulkhead liberated.The research showed that installing an absorber which made by latex would take the vibration from the tube to the bulkhead by the passing through bulkhead.This paper calculated the fluid field and temperature field of passing through bulkh ead with cooling water cover by numerical method with coupled analytic method,then made an optimal design for the passing through bulkhead,the optimal configuration was obtained,analysed the thermal stress and fatigue characters.The following aspects were included:1. Analysed the fluid field and temperature field of the passing through bulkhead with cooling water cover by numerical method.2. Analysed the temperature field of the solid part of the cooling water cover.3. Made an optimal design for the passing through bulkhead.4. Analysed the thermal stress,deformation and fatigue characters of the cooling water cover.The result showed that the width of the cooling water cover had little influence on the temperature field of the structure,and the diameter of the cooling water pipe had mainly affected the temperature field;thinking about the using in engineer,the optimal configuration was achieved with numerical method,the diameter and flow width of this configuration were20mm and30mm.The static structure analysis was made to the optimal cooling water cover,the result showed that the max equivalent stress of the part of the cooling water cover which directly contacted with the cooling water hadn’texceeded the allowable pressure.Changing the Young’s Modulus would change the thermal stress,so in high temperature condition,the effect of the Young’s Modulus could’t be slighting.The deformation of the cooling water cover could be ignored com paring with the size of the cooling water cover,so neglecting the deformation of the configuration was acceptable in the structure analysis,this showed the one-way coupled method was suitable for this calculation.
