With China’s heavy industry, especially the development of automobile industry,the environmental pollution increases, so the power to replace the traditionalfossil-fuel trend is more clear. Iithium battery and other energy storage equipment iscoming into the rapid development period. Battery formation system is a key link inbattery production. In this part, the battery production enterprises of our country usebackward technology for a long time, causing great waste of energy, while the foreignadvanced equipments’ prices too high, seriously restricting the development ofenterprises. Therefore, we need a new formation and testing equipment to meet thedomestic demand. In this paper, on the basis of a new type of lithium batteryformation system, designed the four bidirectional DC/DC converter.The main contents of this thesis are as follows:(1) Introduces the background and significance of the research subject, andlithium battery formation system of foreign development and application. Accordingto the shortcomings of current equipment, put forward a kind of lithium batteryformation system based on DSP.(2) The charging and discharging characteristics of lithium battery are brieflyintroduced. According to its characteristics, points out the index of formation system.According to the index, select the bidirectional DC/DC topology, and analysis itsworking principle. According to this principle, makes sure the establishment of theactual control targets, and gives the design method of PI controller in order to realizethe stable operation of the system.(3) According to the method of modular design, details the module hardwarecircuit design, including the DSP minimum system, auxiliary source, sampling andprotection circuit, indication and fan driving circuit.(4) The software of the system is introduced in detail, including the initializationprocess, time management, sample management, alarm, power control module.(5) Create a complete system, build the test circuit, the hardware onlinesimulation and debugging features of DSP minimum system, then the system chargeand discharge test, at last, the test results are analyzed.This paper studies and realizes the four bidirectional DC/DC converter system forlithium battery, it has the characteristics of compact structure, efficiency and high precision, good stability, support hot swappable.It effectively meet the domesticlithium battery industry demand.
