PK pre-stressed composite slab is one of new practical assembled monolithicslab. With good advantages on overall performance, mechanical performance andcrack resistance performance, this type of slab is also known as convenientinstallation, economic save on formwork, short construction cyclic and high quality ofsafety. Therefore, the slabs had been applied in many projects in various cities,creating good economic benefits.In the production and living, fires in building are the most frequently occurringdisasters, resulting in great economic losses every year, which ranks the third place inChina, only after droughts and floods. As PK pre-stressed concrete composite slabs arewidely used in the actual projects, attentions are gradually paid to the fire-resistanceperformance of them. Hence, it is necessary to study the fire-resistant performance ofthis slab and to provide a theoretical basis for its fire-resistant design. To obtain the fireresistance performance and its influencing factors of this type of slab, a study on fireresistance tests was conducted in this thesis. The main contents were as follows:(1)The state of art about fire resistance capability of reinforced concrete slabswas summarized as well as the thermal performance of reinforced concrete materials.(2)Through dead load-warming fire resistance tests, behaviors of PK pre-stressedconcrete composite strips and two non-pre-stressed concrete composite plate wereobtained, including cross-section temperature distribution, failure modes, concretecracking, characteristics of deformation and crack development as well as the fireresistance capacity. Moreover, the thickness of different plaster layers, the types ofsteel bar and the magnitude of pre-stress were also taken in to account. By analyzingthe results of the test, some meaningful conclusions and recommendations were given.(3)On the basis of the tests, sectional temperature field of components wasanalyzed by using finite element software ABAQUS. It can be found that the resultsof simulation were in accordance with those of the tests. Further, in order to study theinfluencing factors of sectional temperature field, the heating curves, the protectivelayer thickness of concrete and fire duration were explored in the thesis.
