This paper selects a typical traditional copper foil enterprise with large power consumption in Hefei province as the research object. A low-voltage, large-current switching power supply of high efficiency and frequency is studied for its application in high power consumption industries. Streamlined topology and efficient control methods are proposed to reduce power consumption and improve plant operation efficiency and power quality of grid side. Based on comprehensive energy management needs of copper foil enterprises, this paper has developed a set of power monitoring and management optimization system, which effectively improves the power supply centralized control and optimizes the management level, realizes the enterprise comprehensive energy conservation goals.Firstly, based on comprehensive understanding of the production processes and management of the enterprise, the topology and working principles of traditional high-energy rectified power supply is analyzed. It uses SCR to regulate AC voltage and ultimately achieve low-voltage high-current DC output. The main problems of the traditional SCR rectifier power supply are summarized in this paper by analyzing its output efficiency and energy consumption. After that, a novel topology of high frequency switching power supply is presented, whose pre-stage circuit is three-phase four-switch PWM rectifier and whose post-stage circuit is half-bridge DC/DC converter. The working principles of the pre-stage and post-stage circuit are described in details with their mathematical model is established. Detailed comparative analysis the energy consumption data of the new energy-efficient, high-frequency switching power supply and traditional SCR rectifier power is carried out, which proves the former has characteristics of lower loss and high utilization of electric energy.Then, this paper introduced a control strategy of the low-voltage and large-current high frequency switching power supply for copper foil production. A composite current deadbeat control method based on power feed-forward for the pre-stage three-phase four-switch PWM rectifier of the high frequency switching power supply is proposed, realizing the real-time tracking of the load power. For the post-stage half-bridge DC/DC converter, a double closed-loop control strategy of external current loop and internal voltage loop is proposed to achieve output of the converter with high efficiency and low ripple. The correctness and validity of the proposed control method are verified by simulations. To solve the multi-parallel problem of switching power supplies, a current-sharing control method based on virtual resistor is discussed in this paper, which can improve the output characteristics of the switching power supply from control and achieve the current-sharing control of multi-parallel switching power supplies.Last but not the least, a device for enterprise monitoring and optimization of power supply management system is designed in this paper. The system uses an industrial PC and WINDOWS XP platform, by loading software to do FCS controllers and using the programmable controller PLC RS485field bus communication network to connect all field devices, a dual RS485-based monitoring system is constructed based on the field bus. This system can coordinate the functions such as protection, monitoring, control and motion control, helping enterprises reduce costs, improving production efficiency and management level.Concerning the problems such as high energy consumption, low output efficiency, a lack of unified integrated monitoring and management system in the traditional rectification power supply, this paper studies the topology structure and control technology of low-voltage and large-current high frequency switching power supply, and has accomplished a development of a power management system for monitoring and optimization.
