As the population has been growing in high speed during the last fewdecades,land is now becoming avery scarce resource.Buidings in cities around theworld has to be built higher and larger to meet our demand.Under this situation,a largenumber of high-rise building appeared to the world,which are not only playing a bigpart of globle economy,but also serve as a media to show the greatness of cities.However, high-rise building is not just bringing a series of positive effects,it alsogives the civil industry a great concerns about the performance those buildings mayhave under earthquake disasters.Therefore,this thesis made a series of analysis thesesmetic performance of a super high-rise building:1.This thesis made a linear elastic analysis of small earthquakes to make surethat this building’s reaction parameters can reach the demand of China’sspecification.Then design the building.2.We made a Pushover analysis to the building on the basis of step1.Check theresult to find out the exact step that the analysis reach it’s performance point,and gothrough every step to see the development of elastic hinges in order to find out theweak part of this structure and give enhancing advices.3. Selected3approperate sesmic flames and carried out a time-history analysison the structure.4.Compare the results of those two analysis beyond,and knowledge thedifferences bettwen them.
