| According with the continuous development of Chinese economy, people’s material needs and cultural needs are increasing that put forward a higher requirement for the third industry, including food and beverage industry. Everyone has different consumption habit, however, how to analyze the consumer behavior and the psychological pattern of consumers in order to design a dining space which accords with people’s psychological demand? It is not only a mission and responsibility for designers, but also an effective method to shape the taste of a city, to boost economic growth as well as to improve people’s life which has important and far-reaching significance.This study consists of four parts:The first part is literature review which included two parts:1. Definition of dining space which is the basis of this research.2. The origin, connotation, main ideas of consumer behavior. In addition, the main influencing factors of consumer behavior are also introduced in this part. This par is aiming at introducing theoretical framework.The second part, the author introduces the outstanding cases of dining space domestic and overseas. Through the analysis of classic cases, the author further explores the influencing factors of consumer behavior.In the third part, the author summarizes the influencing factors of consumer behavior which affect the design of dining space. There are three parts are included:1. Consumer behavior and psychological law effects on the design of dining space.2. The design connotation of vision, hearing and touching in dining space design.3. The influence of dining space designing which different consumption crowd under the market segmentation. In this part, the author further discusses the influencing factors of consumer behavior in the dining space design.The fourth part the author put forwards the dining space design from the perspective of consumer behavior which including:the functional layout and the application of human body engineering, the line space, color, light and material design. From these aspects, the author would find the design method of dining space.The innovation point of this article is that the author ingeniously combines the dining space design with consumer behavior. In the field of dining space design, the majority of academics emphasis on the study of the topicality and regionalism of dining space, however, few people deeply analysis the dining space design from the perspective of consumer. Therefore, in this paper the author attempt to find the influencing factors in dining design by deeply analyzing typical cases from the perspective of consumer behavior by which to summarizing important influencing factors and to put forward rational design suggestions. The research is aiming at providing a new research perspective for design. |
