At present, suspension studies in China major focus in the guide mechanism,mounting parameter, and damping of suspension systems. However the researching forrubber bushing which mounting in suspension system is still an unfrequented topic. It iscommon that using rubber bushings as a part to buffer between links in automobilesuspension to reduce the vibration and offset manufacture tolerance. The static anddynamic characteristics of rubber bushing significantly affect on vehicle ride, handingstability and high-frequent NVH characters. Consequently, in terms of research on vehiclesuspension, how to obtain the static and dynamic characteristics of rubber bushing,establish multi-dynamics model of suspension including the information of rubber bushing,and verify reasonability of suspension parameters count for much. The contents of thisdissertation are:1. The static mechanics characteristics of rubber bushing are investigated. Aapproach is discuss to fitting the hyperelastic constants with three types of material testdata through the commercial finite element software. A comparison is applied between thesimulation results and experimental results. Furthermore, a parameter identificationmethod is proposed for searching a group of acceptable parameters to describe thehyerelastic mechanics characteristics of rubber-like material, in the case of lacking materialmechanical tests. Additionally, based on the inverse method, the parameters of three-termOgden law are obtained; the rotational stiffness of the rubber bushing is also evaluated.2. The research on the dynamic properties with constant amplitudes of rubberbushing experiment and simulating calculation is conducted. The hyperelatic-viscoelasticconstitutive model for rubber-like material is established, through the inverse methodmentioned above, in order to predict the dynamic mechanics characteristics of rubberbushing under the changeable frequency vibration. Meanwhile, the effect involving shrinkrange of bushing mount on predicting static and dynamic properties of rubber bushing isdiscussed.3. A rigid-flexible coupling model of front–Macpherson suspension is built tosimulating K&C characteristics of suspension under different working conditions.
