Under the strategy and environment influence of current domestic offshore oil’sdevelopment,in order to realize the development of offshore support vessel intelligent simulator,providing immersive interactive experience for talents of offshore support vessel, andaccelerating the development of our offshore support vessel talents, my paper studies thesimulation technologies of realizing offshore support vessel’s towing operation and anchoringoperation.In this paper, it uses the offshore oil981and offshore oil681as an example to introduceoffshore drilling platform, offshore support vessel and work riggings.limited equipments.it setsup the models based on Quasi-catenary to describe the work riggings and completes the workriggings’ rendering and movement simulation through matrix transformation and adding cableinfinitesimal in OpenSceneGraph; it uses the collision dection to modify the posture of theriggings in frame rendering; it uses3D animation to simulate the sailors and shark pliers; it usesscript technology to manage the animation’s generating and playing, among of them,thecombination of scripts and3D animation is the application innovation. On the basis of thosetechnologies, it has completed the simulation of towing and anchoring operation according tooffshore support vessel’s specification which is applied to the Semi-submersible offshore drillingplatform in offshore or deep. In addation, it has realized the system design of offshore supportvessel’s intelligent simulator preliminary by using the Unified Modeling Language, which creatsa good start for the simulator’s development.
