With the development of society and economy, electric power has become a pillar industry of our country. Economic development will inevitably lead to the increase of the power consumption, high voltage electrical nodes such as transformer, instrument transformer, high voltage switch cabinet, outdoor knife will undertake more and more pressure of safe high load delivery. But the heating problem in the power system of many high voltage electrical nodes threatens the system safety and stabilization, safe operation of high voltage electrical nodes is the supply of power system. With the increase of load, leading to the connection point of equipments to a vicious cycle:temperature, expansion, contraction, oxidation, resistance increases, heating up again till the accident happens. Therefore, the system for solving the current problems has very important significance.This paper studies the online monitoring system of voltage electrical equipments and there connection, analyzes and compares key technology and chooses the most suitable mode-WSN; Combined with the actual operation situation of hegang area, analyzing the operation of the monitoring system,nailed down the necessity of on-line monitoring system, and make the hegang system’s overall architecture, substation architecture, the background software architecture, communication method, system function clear;After comparing and summarizing various types of temperature measurement unit,the most suitable temperature measurement unit of this system is selected, the hardware and software of temperature measurement terminator are designed, especially the temperature acquisition module, and the final parameters are established with debugging. This system makes on-line monitoring service as the core, achieves the complete, accurate, real-time acquisition function of temperature data, in view of the detected data, timely, comprehensive analysis of the problems or potential threat to take timely measures to ensure the safe and stable operation of power grid. This system accords with national development direction and the requirement of the smart grid, to be advanced and practical. Our system is in a leading position comparing with the similar systems, the application prospect is very broad.
