The main indicators of saving energy and reducing consumption are specific consumption of the product. The theoretical basis is provided for energy conservation and emissions reduction. In this paper, on the basis of the specific consumption analysis theory is further deduced the unbalance efficiency of the second law thermodynamics. Based on specific consumption analysis theory, we can calculate the value of the energy consumption of the equipment and each link of the irreversible loss, as well as the additional fuel specific consumption. According to the heat unbalance method associated with the fuel consumption can also use the unbalance calculation method, and the second law thermodynamics efficiency of unbalance energy utilization. In view of the thermal power plant specific consumption analysis, this paper obtained the boiler and irreversible loss of calculation methods of the whole power plant and all equipment attached to the fuel consumption of the computing and the second law of thermal balance method and boiler efficiency. The main indicators of saving energy and reducing consumption are specific consumption of the product. We analyze the composition of additional consumption and its distribution. The theoretical basis is provided for energy conservation and emissions reduction.
