A SWFC composite structure was explored for continuous rigid frame bridgeunder complicated geological condition, according to the topic application study ofSWFC composite structure for continuous rigid frame bridge in Tibet which isassumed by Zhixiang Zhou and pertains to the construction project of the transportministry. The main work and conclusions of this paper are as follows:â‘ A SWFC composite structure was proposed based on the ribbed steel plate-concrete composite structure. A SWFC continuous rigid frame bridge was designedbased on the research.â‘¡Based on the experiment date of ribbed steel plate-concrete composite beams,the calculation formula of cracking moment of SWFC was derived according to thephysical equations static equilibrium and deformable coordination conditions.â‘¢Based on the crack width calculation formula of reinforced concrete andexperiment results of ribbed steel plate-concrete composite beams and reinforcedconcrete beam, the crack width calculation formula of SWFC was derived, whichcontains the restrictive function of ribbed steel plate to crack propagation.â‘£A finite element model of ribbed steel plate-concrete composite beam wascreated by using existing research results of reinforced concrete uniform constitutivemodel. The results show that this model can properly simulate the mechanical behaviorof the experimental beam. And on this basis a finite element model of SWFCcontinuous rigid frame bridge was created for mechanical behavior analysis underdifferent load combinations.
