With the rapid development of high-speed vehicle technology, plus domestic fuelprices continued to rise, forcing consumers to the automobile’s power performance,handling and stability, economy and comfort put forward higher requirements. Studyon the dynamic performance of automobile air has become one of the key researchdirections in the automotive industry. The outline of the automobile can affect vehicleaerodynamic characteristics greatly.Effect of the windshield angle to study theresistance coefficient,the vehicle gas vehicle shape lift coefficient, lateral forcecoefficient and shear stress,to study the car windshield angle on the aerodynamicperformance.In addition, the influence of air power performance of the automobile inthe running process can be a crosswind,the contrastive analysis of the aerodynamicproperties of crosswind and no crosswind.This paper uses CAD (Computer Aided Design two computer aided design)software modeling, ANSA mesh and Star CCM+(Computational continuummechanics algorithms continuum mechanics algorithm) algorithm combined of theautomobile external flow field numerical simulation analysis,Calculation and studywithout crosswind and influence of different windshield angle on the performance ofvehicle side wind.First, using CAD software to build the amodel of the windshield angle of20degrees. Then pour it into the ANSA software, the windshield angle, change into fivebody model of20°,25°,30°,35°,and40°, the repair and modify the model after theestablishment of a side wind and no wind in two cases.The computational domainwithout crosswind computational domain space for the car in front of one times thecommander.And then pour it into the fluid software Star CCM+, grid mesh of3D bodymodel has been built and the computational domain is polyhedral,finally set theboundary conditions and calculation and analysis of computational fluid;the output ofthe velocity vector, pressure distribution, shear stress vector. The aerodynamic dragcoefficient,lift coefficient, lateral force coefficient,the window before the dynamicperformance of automobile air the best when the angle.Post processing of results can be seen: different windshield angle of car by windeffect,the effect is not only related with the car appearance, but also with the speed ofvehicles, there is no crosswind on. And the body under the pressure coefficient of liftcar,pressure determines the crosswind coefficient, the pressure before and after effects of aerodynamic drag coefficient. The fluid analysis of the same conditions are the samespeed, the same boundary conditions of20°,25°,30°,35°and40°five windshield anglemodels,35°models with better conclusion aerodynamic performance.
