The bag-taking device is a simple mechanical device which is used for prefabricated bagmachines. This kind of device is generally used for taking and feeding bags in the horizontalpackaging machines, linear or rotary vertical packaging machines. The current method oftaking bags is taking the bags from bag magazine to the next station and then back tracking.This kind of method can be realized by the vacuum chucks’ reciprocat swing or linearmovement driven by bag-taking device. However, the speed of current bag-taking device isgenerally not fast. When the speed of bag-filling machines is improved, the current bag-takingdevice is no longer applicable. Therefore, the existing form of taking bags back and forth issupposed to change. A new bag-taking device working in the condition of continuoushigh-speed is needed. The main contents are as follows.The type, structure and the use of prefabricated bags is analyzed to determine the type ofpre fabricated bags, the sheet feeding device is analyzed on the feeding speed, feedingmethods etc, the adaptability of feeding sheets process for composite prefabricated bags isexplained, the deflection and size of prefabricated bags is analyzed to confirm the conditionsof prefabricated bags which is use for continuous high-speed bag taking system.The possible trajectories of bag taking vacuum chuck is confirmed and choose the mostapp ropriate trajectory for continuous high-speed bag taking system, based on the determinedtrajectories, taking and loosening bags by the vacuum chuck, various types of packagingmachines, the local trajectory of taking and loosening bags by the vacuum chuck is confirmed,choose the type of trajectory, then get two institutions which can form the confirmedtrajectory, the movement mechanism structure parameters is optimized, then the motionsimulation is analyzed, discussing system’s ability to take the bags.Analyzed the basic technique of bag-taking by vacuum chuck, including the vacuumchuck type and selection, the basic static and dynamics analysis of vacuum bag-taking, thestress analysis of bag-taking from bag magazine by vacuum bag-taking head, designedvacuum bag-taking head for different specifications of the bag, by discussing the process planof vacuum distribution get three kinds of feasible vacuum distribution method, and statedtheir respective advantages and disadvantages.Designed the virtual prototype foragas separation process, simulated and analyzed thedetail movements of the vacuum chuck in the bag magazine, and determined the relationshipbetween the bag head and replace time, analyzed the required time for vacuum airway,vacuum tube and vacuum chuck to form rate vacuum, by comparing the two above, verified ifthe device can achieve the desired speed in a certain number of bag-taking head.
