Rapid economic development led to the development of complex tall buildings, atrium building because it created a spacious, comfortable and bright indoor environment, to ensure that the many activities from outside influence was widely welcomed by the people. With the development of modern Chinese cities, is bound to the rapid development of the atrium building. However, the booming atrium buildings also posed a serious fire situation, according to fire statistics show that in recent years a number of major, catastrophic fire and patio construction related. Therefore, the study of the characteristics of the atrium building fires and making prevention measures, has become an important topic of fire research.The effects of different flow process high aspect ratio atrium fire smoke this paper, theoretical analysis and simulation analysis method of combining and smoke control effectiveness analysis in mechanical and natural smoke exhaust.Then according to the common atrium features and related specifications determine the atrium model, fire load, fire behavior, smoke emission and other fire scenario parameters, designed14different fire scenarios and compare programs, and the use of FDS simulation tools, the establishment of the atrium fire and smoke control simulation model.Finally, the simulation results for14kinds of different fire scenarios were analyzed. By analyzing changes in the atrium visibility, temperature, smoke layer height, the following conclusions:which court when the aspect ratio increases, in the corresponding mechanical exhaust and natural smoke, the rate of decline increased visibility in the atrium smoke layer height drop rate increases, flue gas temperature decreases, comprehensive analysis, smoke effect is reduced; natural smoke and smoke right atrium smoke control effect less, natural smoke smoke control better; atrium height increases, natural smoke chimney effect is more obvious; in the summer heat, the tall atrium thermal barrier effect occurs in the early smoke, smoke effect will affect the natural smoke.Conclusions can provide reference and basis for the design and optimization of fire and smoke control and other aspects of the atrium and the performance of large space building fire.
