More and more attention on fossil energy consumption and pollution to theenvironment.The use of clean energy,especially wind power,bring a new form of powergeneration for the word.With the development of power electronic technology,VSC-HVDChas made rapid progress due to its unique technical merits.It is a new technology field tosafely supply the load center with bulk electric energy which comes from large scale windfarms.Under the circumstance,this article focuses on the content:firstly introduce the windpower system,and study the VSC-HVDC model,the sending station and by the end stationcontrol strategy have been designed which interconnection of wind farm.The integrated windfarm based on DC transmission using voltage source converters(VSC-HVDC)and ACtransmission respectively are established respectively in simulation softwareDIgSILENT/PowerFactory. Comparing and researching two types of grid to improve thetransient stability and low voltage through ability.Finally,on the basis of the front,the new FACTS device controller-unified power flowcontroller,and introduce of it into the wind farm by AC power grid system,to study the effecton improving performance theAC grid.
