With the development of science in the world, massive high power nonlinearloads have been put into use; bring it to the grid harmonic pollution problems areworsening. Active Power Filter has become a hot research, with the goodcompensation performance and high efficiency of governance harmonic. The originaltwo-level APF has been unable to meet the requirements of high-voltagelarge-capacity situation. Therefore, this paper mainly studies the topological structureof three-level APF, harmonic detection, current tracking control algorithm andparameter design, in order to provide a theoretical foundation and experience inengineering of high-voltage large-capacity occasions.First of all, the basic principle of three-level APF is presented, and introduceddiode clamp topology of three-level PWM converter, then introduction the three-levelT-type topology for its shortcomings. The mathematical models of three-level APFare established in three-phase coordinates, and the simplified mathematical model inthe d-q coordinate system, reached a decoupled relationship between variables effect.Second, harmonic detection algorithms and current tracking control algorithm isanalyzed, and the harmonic detection algorithm based on instantaneous reactivepower is introduced and simulation. For current tracking control strategy, introducedthe three-level hysteresis control and triangle wave comparison control, and thedesign of state feedback decoupling PI controller.Then for the problem of selection parameters of the main circuit APF, busvoltage on the DC side, capacitance and reactance values are made a detailedtheoretical derivation in the paper, providing a theoretical basis for specificapplications engineering.Finally, a simulation model of the entire three-level APF system is built inSimulink and analysis verified the influence of the various parameters change system,by adjusting the parameters. Various parameters are optimized, and get the finalthree-level model of APF.
