Potential transformers play an integral role in the power system which is a majorelectrical equipment to link the primary circuit with the secondary circuit. It is veryimportant for energy measurement, automatic devices and protection. Its accuracy,reliability and stability have a close relationship with the stability reliability andeconomy of the power system. Nowadays, electromagnetic or capacitive voltagetransformer is widely used in power realizing the measurement of voltage, powermetering and protection. However, the traditional voltage transformer secondaryoutput voltage signal can’t be connected directly by the computer。Now it can’t meettoday’s society requirements for the development of the power system: automation,digital and intelligent.Benefit of the rapid development of current electronic measurement technologyand power electronics technology, the advances of computer monitoring and controltechnology and the large-scale application of digital power technology, electronicvoltage transformer equipment to be realized, and to the continuous improvement anddevelopment in practical applications. Electronic voltage transformer can give us thelow analog and digital output of the target, according to the need of the power system,and these output can be used by computer equipment and electronic measurementdevices used directly, can also be achieved online information detection and effectivefault diagnosis, in line with requirements of the modern era of the development of thegrid: power system automation, digital, intelligent and network.Today, electronic transformer are mainly put into practical use: electronicoptical voltage transformer, capacitor voltage transformers, resistive voltagetransformers and voltage-current conversion electronic voltage transformer and so on.However, various limitations due to its inherent characteristics of the transformer, sothat it has some constraints in practice, even a large error occurs in someenvironments. In this paper, with referencing to various transformer reality applications,combined with its operating principle, and compare and contrast their advantages anddisadvantages, transformers used for individual study proposes a new electronicvoltage transformer design ideas. Through a detailed analysis of the principle ofresistive and capacitive voltage transformers and electronic common error conditions,the comprehensive analysis of characteristics of the two transformers, informationfusion design ideas is proposed. Combine numerical precision and phase shiftcharacteristics of capacitance transformers, with characteristics of resistancetransformer phase that can be accurately made, and the data is difficult to precise.Make the information unified and integrated, and achieve the precise application ofelectronic transformers in power systems.This paper analyzes the principle of electronic resistance transformers andelectronic capacitors electronic transformer, studies their practical application, andintegrates their information. Propose a new design and design principle of electronicvoltage transformer based multi-information fusion, and then explain its principlesand its implementation in detail.
