Machines as piston compressors, turbines and hammers produce great vibrationwhen they operate. This kind of machines are called dynamic machines. We shouldnot only make sure that the static requirements are satisfaction, but also make somedynamic calculations when we design foundations for them. Make sure the affect thatdynamic machines take to people and environment near them will be under control.In the program of traditional dynamic machine foundations, people usefoundations which looks like a block, a wall or architecture. All these types offoundations have a same characteristic-they are all been buried in soil-sometimes partof them, sometimes the whole. In this article, the author will propose a little-modifieddynamic machine foundation on the basic of traditional types. This kind of foundationcombines to the basement which the dynamic machines are put in. We can call itintegral type dynamic machine foundation.When the shape changes, the biggest problem is how to calculate, andsuperposition every part of the foundation. In this article,“moment of inertia” will beused to solve this problem. And the main research tasks are as follows1.Introduce the theory of traditional dynamic machine foundation design.2.Select the coordinate system of integral type dynamic machine foundation,derivation the method of dynamic calculations. Obtain the formula which leads to thedisplacement and rate of the control point.3.Make a calculation of the foundation in HNU advanced design and manufactureof automotive Laboratory, and measure it to verify. Confirm that the integral typedynamic machine foundation is reliable in practical engineering.4.Under condition of equal mass of concrete and the same dynamic machinesoperate, design traditional dynamic machine foundation. Then contrast the vibrationresponse with which under the integral type foundation.The conclusion is: under the same conditions, the integral type foundation willcontrol the vibration better than traditional dynamic machine foundations.
