Mechatronics design has become one way of mechanical product innovations.Application of the servo system changed mechanical products a lot, it enrichedproduct features, improved performance, and enhanced the competitiveness of theproducts. In the field of tobacco packaging, the packaging machinery of theGerman company, HAUNI, has achieved servo driv e technology instead ofmechanical drive. It not only reduced wear and noise, but also improve theefficiency of the machine.There are a lot of cigarette packing machineries in the push rod mechanism, highspeed, trajectory complex. It is always cam rod, gear linkage achieved with thesituation of institutional wear large, flexible working poor. Multi-link mechanismusing multiple degrees of freedom, but to implement complex motion law, combinedwith a servo control system can increase the flexibility of work organization.The articles design a servo motor-driven using two degrees of freedom seveninstitutions in accordance with cigarette packaging machine requirements of cigarettepushing process. Firstly, the paper analyze the advantages and disadvantages ofdifferent types of push device using in cigarette packing machine, proposing a newmechanism implement push technology. According to the characteristics ofinstitutions, through computational analysis to classify and study the different typesof organization′s working space. Secondly, mathematical model agencies andcomputational analysis its kinematic characteristics,crank presence, existence ofnon-singular condition. Then introduces the common methods to optimize the designof institutions, establishes a model for seven-bar mechanism optimization, determinesthe design variables, constraints and propose a method for trajectory optimization ofaccess points. In the optimization process, using genetic algorithm for multi-objectiveand obtains a group of basic parameters about the machine. Modeled in ADAMSsimulation software according to the optimized parameters and the simulation getstorques to moving on the original file. Finally, analogy torque applied to the originalmoving parts by magnetic brake. The servo motor under simulated load movement cansatisfy the accuracy requirements.Applications of servo control system and multi-link mechanism proposed in this paper can be extended to many other kinds of packaging machinery so as to increasethe flexibility of work products and improve work efficiency.
