| Underground pipe system is one of the most significant features of ground sourceheat bump (GSHP) air conditioning system, it is the key factor to guarantee the GSHPsystem’s high efficiency and energy saving. Based on some features of undergroundpipe system like complex system and stable operating hydraulic conditions, this paperhas researched variable flow adjusting mothod for underground pipe water system inGSHP, and analyzed how to reduce energy consumption through adjusting flow ofunderground pipe water system, to improving the comprehensive COP and furtherexploring the GSHP’s potential of energy saving.This paper analyzed the feature of variable flow and the feature of variable flowadjusting in the underground pipe water system. Referring to the variable flow ratetechnology of the user side water system in air conditioning system, this paperresearched four underground pipe side water system with variable flow in the GSHP,namely the primary pump system with variable flow and fixed rotating speed, theprimary pump system with variable flow and rotating speed, the primary-sceondarypump system with variable flow and fixed rotating speed, the primary-sceondarypump system with variable flow and rotating speed. The feasibility of the foursystems were analyzed, the application form, control strategies, calculation methodsof energy consumption of the underground pipe side water system etc. were discussedas well. Finally, this paper calculated respectively the annual energy consumption ofthe four systems in an exhibition hall which locates in Changsha, Hunan Province,and made a comparison with primary pump system with fixed flow in the perspectiveof energy efficiency and economy.It turns out that the annual energy consumptions of four variable flow systemsare all lower than constant flow system. Among the four systems, the rotating speedpump systems’ energy efficency are relatively high. The energy efficiency of theprimary pump system with variable flow and rotating speed is8.42%, The energyefficiency of the primary-sceondary pump system with variable flow and rotatingspeed is7.93%. The primary-secondary pump system with variable flow stands outwith stable operation and good social economy benefit. The primary-secondary pumpsystem with variable flow operates stablely while it consumes less electric energy,which will help to recoup the increased investment caused by increased pumps and control system.The payback period of the sceondary pump system with variable flowand fixed rotating speedis3.1years, while the payback period of theprimary-sceondary pump with variable flow and rotating speed is2.0years. So itconcludes in this paper that the primary-secondary pump system with variable flowfor underground pipe side in GSHP is worthy of spread.The research on variable flow technology for underground pipe water system inGSHP can be a guidance and reference for the application and spread of variable flowunderground pipe water system in actual projects. |
