With the acceleration of infrastructure and urbanization process in China, pilefoundation, which is an important part of civil engineering structures, is alsodeveloping rapidly.Soil Compaction Pile is a new type of pile. At the first step of on-siteconstruction, the grouting pipe is covered by a layer of elastic silicone membrane.Then the grouting pipe is buried and concrete is pumped into soil in order to compactsoil. Finally, pile body is formed by concrete. Under a reasonable grouting pressure,soil compaction Pile has better stability than traditional pile, and its bearing capacityis also higher.At present, the domestic research on the pile for the analysis of pile radius is rare,and the accuracy of the empirical formula for calculating the pile bearing capacity isalso poor, so research this new pile is necessary.In this paper, the main content are research on the pile forming mechanism ofsoil compaction pile and its bearing capacity. Study methods are finite elementsimulation, theoretical derivation and the indoor model test. In this paper, the mainwork can be divided into three parts.The first part is pile forming mechanism of soil compaction pile. Based on theoryof cavity expansion theory and power law fluid splitting theory, the formula forprediction of the radius of soil compaction pile and split pressure formula are deduced,then the values of the main parameters and the impact on the calculation of the resultsare analyzed.The second part is soil compaction pile’s bearing capacity study. By finiteelement simulation, bearing mechanism soil compaction pile and soil compactioninfluence are analyzed.Combined with tight squeeze effect, soil compaction pile’scapacity calculation formula is proposed.The third part is the design and engineering application of soil compaction pile.Binding cavity expansion theory and the method of determining the best pile length,soil compaction pile design methods is proposed, and is applied in engineering.In this paper, the forming process of soil compaction piles are completetheoretical analyzed and practicability formula and design methods are proposed.Therefore,results of this paper have a good reference value and significance.
