Rolling Element Bearing (REB) is one of the most widely used mechanical parts in rotating machinery, is also one of the most easily damaged components. Many faults of rotating machinery are associated REB. According to the statistics, the about30%faults of rotating machines with REB are related to it. The quality of the bearing has a great influence on the work condition of the rotating machinery, if some slight injury bearing fault is not tested and removed timely, it leads to mechanical and electrical equipment to produce abnormal vibration and noise, and even causes serious damage. In recent years, major accidents often occur due to bearing fault damage at home or abroad, and cause major damage to industrial production.There are a lot of fault diagnosis technology of REB, For example, vibration analysis(VA), acoustic emission(AE), oil analysis(OA),etc. Then, the vibration analysis of the REB plays an important role on the condition monitoring and faults diagnosis of rotating machinery. Through extraction and analysis of the vibration characteristics of the signal can be effectively judge rolling bearings of the mechanical failure.In order to improve the early faults diagnosis of REB, we can focus on two parts, one is making use of more scientific testing method and high performance testing instruments to increase the accuracy of measured signals, the other is using more reasonable means of signal processing, accurately extracted from the with complex background noise jamming signal weak bearing fault characteristic information, improve the SNR.In this paper, the typical faults of REB has carried on the thorough discussion and study. On the basis of previous studies, this paper puts forward a method to extract the feature extraction of faulty REB with on time synchronous averaging(TSA) and cepstral editing procedure(CEP). The cepstrum edit scheme for the vibration feature extraction of the faulty REB is studied in this paper. By combined TSA and the real cepstrum to localize and edit the cepstral lines of the original vibration, the unwanted discrete frequency components can be removed. Then, a corresponding inverse procedure is designed, in which the edited cepstrum and the original phase spectrum are employed to reconstruct the edited vibration for the REB feature extraction..Following above theoretical studies, simulation and actual test experiments were all conducted to verify the validity of the proposed method.
