The Design Study On The Fengshui With Green Building Technique Under The View Of Building Physics Environment

The traditional Fengshui theories contained the wisdom of the ancient Chinese who built cities and houses. Fengshui reflects the philosophy and constructing principles of the harmonious coexistence between human and the natural environment. Its core idea is the harmonious symbiosis between man and nature.This paper starts from tracing the history of Fengshui firstly, then it studies the Principles of the Yinyang theory, the five geographical key elements and the eight diagrams, as well the nine palaces and so on. The paper then hackles the Chinese geomantic culture. Based on the elements of the building physical environment, the paper analysis the integration point of Fengshui and technique of green building, and how the ideal environment with comfortable living space could be created. Secondly, the paper explores the basic combination of Fengshui and the building’s physical environment, which is mainly for finding a new direction for the practical application of traditional Fengshui. Meanwhile, it is applied to the engineering design practice, while combining with the construction of physical environment, as well as green building design strategy, which is finally put forward with comprehensive feasible design ideas.With the engineering case of Natural-Luxury Hotel, which is one part of the International health tourism resort on the Keno Hill of Xishuangbanna in Yunnan, The author, using Fengshui and environmental elements of building physics, Create the designing of the project mainly with the computer simulation analysis of the wind, solar environment and thermal comfort parameters etc. The results help to correct the designs, so as to create a national Holiday Villa Hotel in Keno Hill, which has the harmonious coexistence with local climate characteristics and the feature of energy saving. It also provides an example for similar planning and architectural design under the specific conditions. What is more is that it displays a new design thinking and direction for those similar engineering practice today.
