Since entering the new century, with the built and improve of high-speed railway inChina, all aspects of the performance of high-speed vehicles had been constantlyupgrading, which promoted development of economic and social had played an importantrole. Due to constantly introducing and absorbing foreign advanced technology, anddigesting and innovating. So that the speed of train had been continuously improved, thewhole transport capacity of railway and the level of construction had achieved leapfrogdevelopment. However, because of the speed of train had been increased, the dynamicoperating environment was deteriorated sharply. The stability and reliability of high-speedtrain’s operation would be faced many new problems. Especially a series of issues relatedto the transmission system. Such as the effects of traction motor and harmonic torque, etc.The effects would have more uncertainty on the operation performance of vehicle system.So we must be in-depth study for the possible problems of transmission system. This paperwould study the impact of harmonic torque on the dynamics of vehicle system.The work was financially supported by the National Natural Science Foundation ofChina ’Effect and Control of Transmission System Nonlinear Behavior on the Dynamics ofHigh-speed Train’(Grant No.51205433).The focus was studied the influence of harmonictorque on the dynamics of vehicle system. The result was achieved in asynchronoustraction motors harmonic and harmonic torque.And the completed content is as follow.1.First of all, the harmonic of asynchronous motor was analyzed by theoretically, theeffects of harmonics to motor was studied. The fundamental electromagnetic torque andharmonics electromagnetic torque calculation formula of asynchronous motor was derived.The harmonic torque distribution was obtained in time domain. And the correlationanalysis was carried out.2.According whether the electromagnetic torque of the motor were included theharmonic torque or not, two kind of asynchronous motor system model were established inMATLAB/SIMULINK. Combing with the system simulation output waveform was carriedon the detailed analyzed. And the correctness and validity of the model was verified.3.The multi-body dynamics model of vehicle system was established by SIMPACK.The torque of asynchronous motor system model was coupled multi-body dynamics modelof vehicle system by MATLAB and SIMPACK co-simulation. The impact of harmonictorque on the dynamics of vehicle system was analyzed in traction. In this paper, the research results had laid a good foundation for the influence oftransmission system of vehicle system dynamic, it had important engineering significance.
