The city is in a developing process, and the urban surroundingenvironment in cities is undergoned huge change. The natural climate ofthe city is directly or indirectly influenced by the laid of impervious road, the decrease of vegetation for intercepting the rain, the reconstruction forurban rainwater channel and so on.At present many cities for ourcountry have happened urban water logging. In the torrential rain or therainstorm emergent cases, The drainage capacity is insufficient, and thewater on the ground is unable to discharge in a short time, so the cityarises urban water logging. Urban water logging seriously influencespeople’s normal life and production, even threaten the lives of urbanresidents, it has been brought the huge losses and the country’s economicdevelopment for the city. Set up Rain flood model is needed in the city, the warning and forecast to the storm has become an urgent need.At first the paper introduced the urban hydrology and its researchmethods, and also summarized and compared the domestic and foreignurban storm runoff simulation model. Then it elaborated the basicprinciple of SWMM model, the concrete calculation method and thewatershed division and the selection of model parameters details. Finallytaking the actual drainage pipe network system in a campus as theresearch object, and building Rain flood model on the system, Tosimulate the runoff of Outlet and the overload of pipes and nodes for thedrainage pipe network system in different rainfall period. Finally the two measures for adjustment the diameter for keysection of pipe and reduce the impervious area are proposed in this paperto solve the regional water logging. This papers analysis the pipe flowrate, flow velocity in different rainfall period after adjust menting thecritical diameter of pipe and changing the water proofness. Comparativeanalysis of changes in diameter of DN400to DN600flow rates after thepipe network and reduce flow rates after10%permeable pipe network, water impermeability come to change the region can significantly reducethe number of overloaded pipeline, the ability to enhance regionalwaterlogging, to determine the drainage pipe network capacity to provide a reference for urban waterlogging prevention has importantreference value.
