Hydrogen-cooled technology of large turbo generator cooling has been widely used. Hydrogen purity and pressure are key parameters of hydrogen-cooling technology, and generator sealing oil system running state of a certain degree of relationship. In the practice of engineering, engineers and technicians for sealing oil system based on general scientific laws to analyse phenomena that occur when running, found some factors of affecting hydrogen purity of generator and pressure. Finite element method used in this paper to seal tile and its numerical simulation of internal flow field and theoretical analysis combined with Henry’s law.Results showed that the channeling of flow field inside seal rings is an important factor affecting hydrogen purity of generator and pressure. Pressure and temperature of seal oil and the gap of seal rings are important influence with the channeling of internal flow field. Can be mitigated channeling inside of seal rings by controlling seal rings machining methods, standardized the operation of sealing oil system and optimization methods to upgrade the sealing oil system.This article on hydrogen-cooled generators of internal factors affecting hydrogen purity, pressure analysis for engineering practical experience of judging a scientific basis.
