In recent years, with the rapid development of wind power generation, the equipment safe operation has become a concerned topic. Therefore, the fault diagnosis technology is being paid more and more attention. Yet, by relying on the experience of traditional fault diagnosis methods is hard to meet the requirements, long downtime and maintenance time will bring huge economic losses. According to the above problem, base on basic structure and operation requirements of wind power generation system, this paper introduces the fault types of wind turbine. The transmission system occupies a large proportion of fault types. this paper chooses the low-speed rotating shaft and bearing vibration signal as signal source. By effectively analyzing the vibration signal, we can achieve the purpose of fault diagnosis. This paper introduces the related content of vibration measurement analysis technology, then researches the fault type of bearing、spindle and analyzes the characteristics of fault vibration signals according to their basic structure and vibration mechanism to study fault diagnosis. At the same time, because most fault of the blade caused by mass unbalance, the Bladed software verifies the fault characteristics is equivalent to the fault characteristics of spindle rotor mass unbalance. There brings a new method for fault diagnosis of blade,it is with the vibration signal above spindle to test the blade quality imbalance fault.Because of the fault signal is a non-stationary signals, some traditional signal analysis methods is not feasible. This paper focus on the superiority of Hilbert Huang and marginal spectrum for the analysis, bearing inner ring non-stationary fault signal and the main shaft mass unbalance non-stationary fault vibration signal based on Bladed software as an example. Comparing with traditional methods, this paper demonstrates the effectiveness of this method.
