Therefore,study the reinforcement method of arch bridge, To takemeasures to technological innovation, increase carrying capacity, which became a bigproblem urgent to be solved of the construction of highway Bridges.Prestressed hinged steel arch reinforcing arch bridge was presented according tothe characteristics of the arch bridge bearing a kind of effective prestressedreinforcement method actively. The strengthening technology is in view of the archbridge in service, the original owners hinged arch ring under the add mansard arch ring,through the articulated parts applied axial prestress steel arch arch foot, to improve andoptimize the owner arch ring under gravity load the main section (general vault,1/4,3/8,5/8,3/4and arch foot site,etc.), the purpose of the internal force distribution(mainly bending moment distribution). Arch bridge was achieved by reinforce theadjustment and optimization of the main arch ring under the action of dead loadinternal force redistribution, reduce the owner arch ring bending energy, is beneficial tocut peak bending moment and deformation of flat, finally achieve the goal of improvethe load and use of performance.In this paper,the prestressed hinged steel arch arch bridge reinforcementtechnology principle, on the basis of xinjiang army-people unity bridge as the researchbackground, establish its scale model experiment, comparison and analysis the testscale model in prestressed steel mansard arch of the main control section before andafter reinforcement strain, deflection index. From test before and after reinforcementstrain, deflection can be seen that the main arch ring of arch increase after processing,the strength and stiffness of the indicators of change,the test result shows that theincrease of deformation of steel arch ring can be coordinated with the original arch ring, share the part weight of load effect,reducing the original arch ring can bend,improvingthe bearing capacity of the arch bridge. To YuBei longxing town of shimen arch bridgeas an example, the reinforcement method of the reinforcement, and the calculation ofreinforcement before and after reinforcement structure and envelope analysis, it isconcluded that the use of the prestressed steel mansard dumpling arch made theoriginal bridge bearing capacity was improved after reinforcement.
