The longitudinal single slope of the simply supported continuous beam bridge in theoperation of the process, often appear deviation phenomenon of its pier. The excessivedeviation value will affect the stress and deformation performance of the pier,but alsoSerious deviation will affect the use of the entire structure.Therefore, in this paper using the finite element analysis software MIDAS/Civil andMIDAS/FEA set up a bridge pier model and entity space model,analysis of bearingdamage, temperature load,initial imperfection, the autombile braking force of pier,thepier stiffness on the pier deflection influence,to explore the main causes of bridgedeflection.Through the study found that sliding bearing disease make the maximum afection tothe pier.When bearing boundary condition are transformed, void or slip and otherdiseases, the corresponding bearing faults of the piers and provided with a fixedsupport pier displacement of the pier top and internal force of the pier bottom arelarger, while the other displacement of pier top and the internal force of pier bottom aresmall. And the overall temperature drop though less effect on the displacement of piertop, but will make pier bottom cross-section stress and capping beam section stressincreased dramatically, causing cracking phenomenon in a cross section.The size of thepier stiffness value on the pier deflection also have certain effect, in the improvementof bridge bearing capacity can be from two aspects of the pier height and section size.Pier deviation, not only has a certain impact on the bearing capacity and deformationof the upper structure, it will also affect its bearing capacity and deformation. When thedeviation exceeds the limit value ofbridge pier, pier capacity will not meet therequirement, resulting in cracking phenomena in the a cross section.Therefore,in bearing disease occurs, should be handled in time, make the bearing canwork normally, reduce the probability of bridge pier occurs deviation. When deviationof bridge piers are serious, shall promptly carry out rectification, ensure safe use of thewhole structure of performance.
