Excavation process of two-lane highway tunnel is made with FLAC3D in this paper. The catastrophe theory and artificial intelligence methods is introduced in this field of study about ultimate displacement of prediction model of surrounding rocks stability for highway tunnel. First, a catastrophic model with cups point is established based the numerical results of tunnel construction. According to the instability catastrophe criterion, catastrophe displacement characteristic is obtained and ultimate displacement is identified. Thus the introduction of evolutionary support vector regression algorithms, machine learning is established by the highway tunnel in the critical state of equilibrium regression algorithms, machine learning established by the highway tunnel in the critical state of equilibrium under rock geological conditions, depth, span, construction methods and support vector regression parameters and key support point displacement between smart model, and further to convert it into a nonlinear mathematical equations of elementary functions. For different highway tunnel, according to this mathematical equation calculates the ultimate displacement. It is important for the safety of highway tunnel construction and the project quality.
