The advantages of RPC materials and box section girder was combined in this paper, and the design concept of long span integrally prefabricated and erected48m RPC simple-supported box girder was proposed, the main contents are as follows:(1) The deformation, stress, crack resistance of the integrally prefabricated and erected48m RPC simple-supported box girder was calculated in this paper; Theoretical calculation was also carried to the ultimate bearing capacity, the midspan-deflection, the stress of top and bottom flange with load level varies was analyzed by finite element software; The natural frequencies and mode shapes of48m RPC simple-supported box girder were calculated, and the economic between48m RPC simple-supported box girder and32m ordinary concrete box girder was analyzed.(2) The prefabricated technology of integrally prefabricated and erected48m RPC simple-supported box girder was also analyzed in this paper, which included the RPC materials and mix proportion, mixing, transportation, pouring, vibrating process and curing system; the joint work characteristic of common concrete and RPC was analyzed, which would provide reference for the future application of long span RPC simple-supported box girder in practical engineering.(3) Based on the existing32m transport equipment,the modification schemes for transport equipment of integrally prefabricated and erected48m RPC simply-supported box girder was put forward in this paper.The feasibility of the long span integrally prefabricated and erected48m RPC simple-supported box girder was verified through the calculation and analysis above. The weight of the structure would greatly be reduced and the mechanical properties would meet the existing norms when RPC was used to design prefabricated and erected48m RPC simple-supported box girder;No need to re-design and development of large-tonnage transport equipment, only by reforming and strengthening the existing transporting equipment, will be able to achieve erection of48m integrally prefabricated girder and won’t cause the existing equipment idle and waste.This paper,as a tentative result,offers the reference for the RPC’s application and study in project field in the future.
