It is too single to show every street’s and road’s characteristics. The pavement of the road is limited with colors, pattern and design. It is hard to show the regional characteristics of Hohhot by the texture, dimension, color, and design of it. The lamps along the streets only emphasize the illuminating function of it and pay less attention to the decorative effect of it. The greening of the bridges is so rare, and the landscape of the public facilities only cares their duty and neglects their beauty.Therefore, in the greening development of Hohhot, it is significant to make rational use of the elements such as the traditional Mongolian buildings, patterns, the life appliances, customs and etiquettes, dresses and ornaments, literary works, history and culture to highlight the grassland culture of the city by designing the buildings along the road, squares, parks, city entrance, and the greening, pavement, public facilities of the roads as well as the bridges too.
