The solar collector is an important component of solar drying system, the drying process and the drying speed of product quality and cost impacts directly the thermal characteristics of the pros and cons. According to the working principle of solar heat exchanger, analyzing the influence of thermal properties based on factors, design flat type two types of solar air collector:perpendicular to the flow direction of the "Z" shaped plate,parallel to the flow direction of the "U" shaped plate,at the basis of Alfalfa drying box design of solar low-temperature drying heat collecting system.The thermal characteristics experiment heat collection system, analysis the solar radiation, ambient temperature,ambient humidity and the air flow rate speed within the collector, impact on the set outlet temperature of heat exchanger, the main factors affecting the heat characteristics of heat collector.The test results showed that, two kinds of collector for:According to the requirement of drying process of alfalfa, hay dry density is big,"Z" shaped plate collector is suitable, the thin layer drying,"U" shaped plate can be used. When drying materials need to large air flow, mixing type connection mode can meet the temperature requirements, and can meet the requirements of gas flow.Using the test data of thermal properties, using BP neural network, established the "Z" plate,"U" shaped plate solar air collector temperature prediction model, the model test results, the network model performance is good, can achieve better fitting, high accuracy of prediction.
