Cableway bridge is a type of suspension bridge which depends on the wire rope,anchorage, steel beam and bridge panel to suffer the force. It mainly composed by fourparts: bearing cable system, stable structure, floor system, cable tower. With theconstruction of simple structure, large capacity, low material consumption, shortconstruction period, low construction cost, etc. In this thesis, the author starts from thestructure characteristics of modern cableway bridge, first of all, he uses a static analysismethod to analyze the stress of the cable and beam, and studies the geometric nonlinearcharacteristics of cableway bridge, then analyzes its natural frequency and influencefactors. The major research is as follows:Firstly, combining with the characteristics of modern cableway bridge, the authoranalyzes the mechanical characteristics of each component; calculates the bridge loadcable, obtain the approximate calculation formulas of the horizontal tension, length,tension and vector of the cable. He analysis the stability of beam internal force and theaction principle. He combines with engineering example, studies the important role ofstability of beam in the resistance under asymmetrical loading bridge lateral tilt andallocate bearing cable force.Secondly, the author analysis the theory of geometric nonlinear and the importanceto modern cableway bridge. Starting with truss structure, He studies the methods of T.Land U.L, then contrasts and summarizes the two methods. In view of the moderncableway bridge cable structure, He computes the tangent stiffness matrix of a planarflexible cable unit. Combining with the analysis method of finite element software, theNewton-Raphson method is given to solve nonlinear equation. Finally, combining withengineering example, He verifies the applicability and necessity of the nonlinear finiteelement analysis method.Thirdly, the author analysis the vibration characteristic of the modern cablewaybridge. Starting with a vibrating string, He calculates the three dimensional dynamicequations of the cable. According to the characteristics of modern cableway bridgecable, He gets the formula of cableway bridge vertical vibration frequency and torsionalvibration frequency. Finally, combining with engineering example, He calculates andanalyses the influence factors to natural vibration frequency, gets the influence law ofRise-span ratio, degree, weight bearing line model and beam size.
