| With the development of the city and traffic, the life of citizen becomes more and more convenient, but traffic congestion problems become more and more prominent. Traffic congestion problems are always caused by short supply of road resource and inefficiency of existing traffic resource. Therefore this paper tries to find the methods to solve the traffic congestion problems by improving the utilization efficiency of traffic resource.Road network optimization is the traditional way to solve the traffic problems and increase the supply of road resources. Traffic guidance technology is an effective traffic management method by improving the utilization efficiency of urban road resource. Integrating two methods, the paper mainly researches structure optimization of urban road network and traffic zone division technology. The main contents are as follows:Reasonable guidance area can be determined according to the level of economic development and characteristic of traffic flow. On the premise of ensuring functional completeness of the city, the data model of road networks can be built, which lays the foundation for the division technology and the road network optimization of road networks.Based on the established road model, urban road networks are initially divided by graph-theoretical algorithm. Then check the border of traffic zones according to the urban terrain and urban function. Finally check again the border of traffic zones according to the analysis result about the characteristic of traffic guidance zones.From the basic structure of urban road network, analyze the relationship between the topology and the city function, and then find the problems in road network structure.Based on the results of traffic guidance zoning and taken the guidance flow and sub-district structures into account, the local road network problems would be solved by optimization strategies. Through the above two aspects, the capacity of urban road network is improved.Chong Qing urban area is chosen as an instance to verify that whether traffic guidance technology and traffic zone division technology can improve the transfer efficiencies. Firstly determine the reasonable range of induction area. Secondly build relative model of road networks. Thirdly use pajek to optimize the network structure. Fourthly use traffic zone division technology to divide the road networks of Chong Qing urban area. Fifthly make the optimization recommendations. Lastly calculate the transfer efficiencies.Through the above study, division research results by traffic guidance technology can simplify the urban road networks and further ensure the realization of dynamic real-time guidance. Meanwhile, network optimization technology is proved that it can optimize the network structure and also can meet the urban traffic demand. In conclusion, traffic zone division technology for traffic guidance and network optimization technology greatly improve the utilization efficiency of urban road network resource, which effectively alleviates the traffic congestion problems. |
