With the distributed generation such as photovoltaic, wind powerincorporated into power grid, as a better organization form to release distributedgeneration potential abilities, micro-grid plays an important role in the application ofnew energy. micro-grid control and protection is very important to the safe andstable operation of power system.This paper proposes an intelligent circuit breaker switch controller based onmicro-network operation, it used for micro-grid and grid switching. The controllerhas the basic functions of the three segments of the current protection, thermalmemory, self-diagnosis, pre-alarm, real-time monitoring and so on. Further,according to IEC61850standard statute, the intelligent controller designs acommunication interface unit so that it can communicate with the smart devicewhich also complying with the IEC61850statute. Signal sampling circuit is dividedinto two road channel size, and make the sampling data more accurate. The powersupply module adopts spontaneous induction power supply method, it simplifies thecircuit.According to the characteristics of micro-grid and working principle of thecircuit breaker,paper design and develop a prototype, it can be used for switch andprotection between distributed generation and micro-grid or users.The rated outputpower ranges from15kw to90kw, output voltage is400v, phase current rangesfrom12A to75A. The test results show that sampling circuit can realize accuratemeasurementof line electrical parameters, measurement error within5%; Thecontroller can realize basic functions of three period of protection; Thecommunication module based on IEC61850can send and receive control andsampling information message via Ethernet; Power module can provide thecontroller with+3.3V working voltage, sampling circuit with±5V voltage.
