Hand brake valve is an important brake part of the hand brake system inthe air brake system, its quality directly related to the safety of vehicle brakingperformance. At present, the domestic institutions of colleges and universities aboutthe hand brake valve performance testing mainly based on the vehicle performancetest, the domestic enterprises of hand brake valve about the hand brake valve testadopting traditional way of the pressure gauge read, seriously affect the accuracy oftest results, and the low degree of automation. However, the price of foreign testingequipment is too expensive to afford for the most of the small and medium-sizedenterprises without the problem of installation, commissioning, after-salesmaintenance. Therefore, designed a set of hand brake valve online detection andadjustment system is particularly important. In this paper, the main research contentsinclude:(1) Study of the mechanical structure and working principle of hand brake valve,according to the balance piston and piston force equilibrium relations, the gaschamber pressure changes, etc, to establish a mathematical model of staticcharacteristics and carried out simulation analysis using MATLAB software, to getthe static characteristic curve of hand brake valve, to provide theoretical support. forthe hand brake valve testing and adjustment system design(2) According to the requirements of industry and enterprise opponent brakevalve test, analyze the test project requirement and design the project of the softwareand hardware on the basics of the analysis result. Hardware, design the clampingmechanism, loading mechanism, adjustment mechanism, data acquisition moduleand motion control module; Software, use VC++6.0platform with modularizationideas to design the software, including the system debugging module, parametersetting module, data acquisition and processing module and data managementmodule. (3) Using hand brake valve provided by enterprises to do a large number ofrepeated experiments, according to the national metrological specification"Evaluation and expression of uncertainty in measurement technology specification(1059.1-2012JJF) evaluate the uncertainty of the test project and give themeasurement uncertainty evaluation report. Experiment results show that thedifferent pressure uncertainty of the system is0.043KPa; direct pressure uncertaintyis5.56KPa; the maximum error of the angle is0.8°. The experiment results show thatof the system satisfies the requirement of system design under a certain confidencelevel.
