| Along with the rapid development of science and technology also the improvement of people’s living standard, the importance of "3C"(Computer, Communication and Consumer—Electronics) goods is increasing everyday, which makes "3C" become an integral part in living and producing. Compared with the traditional goods,"3C" goods have the characteristics of higher value per unit, shorter life cycles and stronger transportation timeliness. These characteristics put forward the special requirements for transportation.Railway transport capacity released gradually after forming the high-speed rail network. The traditional bulk material transportation can not meet the requirements of railway transport development. As the typical examples in the high value-added goods,"3C" goods are right for exploiting this railway transport area. But for the "3C" goods circulation market, traditional road transport and air transport have the disadvantages of high operating costs, affected by external environment and unstable transportation. These bring some hidden troubles for smooth circulation and rapid consumption of "3C" goods. Under this background, the study for "3C" railway freight transportation products is helpful for railway transportation to seize the historical opportunity in the rapid development of "3C" freight transportation, and then expand the "3C" or even related higher value-added freight transportation market. On the other hand, it’s also in favor of enhancing the stability of "3C" freight transportation, reducing the cost, playing an influential role in market stability and price stability.After plenty research and analysis based on actual data, the study mainly discusses the following questions:(1) On the basis of investigation about the production and consumption situation of laptops, tablets and cellphones, the study analyzed the situation and calculated the OD value of main "3C" goods in the country.(2) This paper also made an analysis for the "3C" goods transportation demand from the consignors’ side, built the competitive advantage model of "3C" goods. Two perspectives are applied in this model:the satisfaction of consignors’ requirements and transportation generalized expense. According to the actual data, the comprehensive competitive advantage of transportation mode and respective advantage range are analyzed. (3) Based on the analysis of traditional goods, the study focused on organization form of railway "3C" freight, train operation, and different strategies. It also discussed "3C" goods according to the actual data of Guangzhou-Beijing. In the end, some suggestions of logistics project based on "3C" railway freight transportation products are proposed. |
