| Abstract:Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) is mainly studied in China as a major technological equipment, which widely applied in the tunnel project of the railway construction, the west-east gas transmitting project and the south-to-north water diversion project. In the hard rock tunneling environment that is deep and has long distance, the TBM is influenced by the high temperature of rock, which changes the mechanism of the rock fragmentation. In the results, some construction problems in terms of high wear of the disc cutter, low efficiency of rock breaking and poor stability occur. Based on the background, related literatures home and abroad review is done in this paper. Regularities that the thermal environment influences the interaction between the disc cutter and rock are deeply studied. Meanwhile this paper researches the regularities that the influences the disc cutter structure parameters and tunneling parameters have on the rock breaking in the different thermal environment, the major content and conclusion of this research as follow:(1) Based on the theory of particle flow, the analogy method of thermodynamics and acoustic emission of rock on the meso scale is established. And then the rock sample matching with the macro parameter is got by doing numerical modeling experiment of uniaxial compression, Brazilian test and shear test with the rock sample optimized by the cluster method. By rationally simplifying the actual conditions, the particle flow model of the disc cutter rock breaking based on the thermal environment is established;(2)Based on rock breaking the particle flow model of the hob, this paper studies the regularities that the thermal environment influences rock breaking of the disc cutter and the regularities that the influences the disc cutter structure parameters and tunneling parameters have on the rock breaking in the different thermal environment and explains the rock breaking mechanism of the disc cutter in the different the thermal environment from the microscopic angle;(3) With the linear test-bed of the disc cutter of the TBM rock breaking, this paper studies the process of rock breaking of the disc cutter in the different temperature conditions and analysis the properties of the rock breaking of the disc cutter in different temperature and the load characteristics. And then combined with the numerical simulation results, the validity of the numerical simulation is confirmed. |
