As the reason of inadequate reserves of primary energy consumption and lowenergy efficiency of the environment, saving energy and improving energyefficiency are the responsibility of each company. Therefore, thermal powerenterprises are particularly affected. Under the premise of ensuring the safety ofpower plant unit, Parameter optimization is an important way to improve theefficiency and saving energy. Main steaming pressure is one of the most importantoperating parameters associated with plant’s economy and security, which plays animportant role. Therefore, applied research on online optimization of turbine initialpressure is with important significance.This paper is based on historical data. At the beginning, the historical data isdivided and processed after mechanism analysis. Then use two methods to calculateheat rate online, the first method is to extract parameters from the historical datawhich are strongly associated with the heat rate for SVM model training,establishing the heat rate SVM model. The model obtains the non-linearrelationship between the heat rate and selected parameters directly. Select theturbine initial pressure at the lowest heat rate as the optimal initial pressure, thendraw optimal initial pressure curve of different conditions; on second method,Thermal system is divided into3parts, including the condenser, level group, heaters.Analyzing condenser vacuum, the efficiency level group and terminal temperaturedifference of heater respectively, find out the main elements of correlate parameters.Use SVM to build a statistical model and verified by test data, then the system isintegrated after meeting the accuracy. Establish statistical model associated withheat rate under different conditions. Then the model establishes the initial pressureto obtain a turbine optimal operation model. Work out the optimization of initialpressure software program based on variable conditions with Delphi language,which is able to show the main steaming pressure curves online. Finally use theoptimal initial pressure to draw a graph, which is important for centralized controloperation.
