Wind power technology is the most mature new generation technology, and it hasthe highest commercial value. In recent years, wind power technology is developpingrapidly, and in the future it will also develop at a high level. As green energy, wind powercan bring great environmental benefits. However, due to its volatility and randomness,the controllability and schedulability of wind power is worse than the ordinary powergeneration. It will cause great effect on the voltage stability when the large scale windpower connected to the power grid. And it may restricting the further development ofwind power. With the rapid development of wind power, the research of the its effcet onpower grid is imperative.In the article, an actual power grid with great wind power capacity is chosed as aresearch objeck to study the static voltage stability and transient voltage stability of largescale wind power integration. The concrete contents are as follows:(1) Analyze the mathematical model of wind power generation system based on thedouble-fed wind turbine. And then study the control strategy of the rotor-side converterand grid side converter.(2) Introduce the mechanism of voltage instability from the two aspects of staticstability and transient stability. And then study the PV curve and VQ curve. And thenstudy the analyzing methods and jdgment foundations of static stability and transientstability.(3) Build the model of a actual national power grid with PSASP. By calculating theload margin of power grid in two conditions of with the wind power integration andwithout the wind power integration, and then analyze its static voltage stability, in orderto select effective solutions.(4) Study the transient voltage stability of the actual grid with BPA. In this article,variation of wind velocity and short-circuit fault are considered, it mainly analyze thetransient voltage stability of two disturbances. And then, analyze the effect on voltagedistribution of SVC or STATCOM when the disturbance occured.
