Rapid growth in demand for copper materials, shortage of copper resources, copper prices rose year by year, copper substitution can save copper resources, alleviate shortages of copper resources, reduce production costs, improve market competitiveness, the coexistence of low-end products and high-end products, and jointly promote the development of the market; In this paper, the numerical simulation method, under the same boundary conditions, copper, aluminum, stainless steel and other materials finned tube heat exchanger three numerical simulation to achieve the same heat transfer, heat transfer under the same conditions, analysis of heat exchanger required number of different materials and cost, provide a theoretical basis for the alternative finned tube heat exchanger material.By the numerical results of both the value and the value of comparing the experimental results verify the reliability of the established numerical simulation model; The results show that:the fin spacing of the main factors, followed by fin thickness, fin height minimal impact on performance factors, namely the fin spacing is2.3mm, fin thickness of0.15mm, fin thickness of4mm; Under the same conditions as the heat transfer, a heat exchanger tube material is an aluminum-based average total cost is8.64yuan, a substrate tube material is8.69%of the total cost of an average copper; substrate tube heat exchanger1the average total cost of stainless steel is47.95yuan, the base material of48.24%copper tube average total cost; under the same conditions of heat transfer, heat exchanger tube material is aluminum2based on average total cost of8.7million, is the base material for the copper tube average total cost8.75%;2base tube heat exchanger made of stainless steel average total cost of48.7million, is the base material for the copper tube average total cost of48.99%.Considering the stainless steel material to replace copper in coil, heat exchanger tubes and other equipment is very advantageous, stainless steel will gradually become a trend in the application of heat transfer equipment.
