With the great Western development strategy in full swing, the construction of Chineseexpressway has ushered their own spring. But, the terrain and geological conditions is verycomplex, and there are many mountains and hills in the west, so mountain tunnelsaccounted for a larger proportion of the entire line, became an important indicator forevaluation of highway. Because security of tunnel construction depends on judgments onstability of surrounding rock, so the application of tunnel monitoring measurementtechnology become particularly important. In this paper, taking Shuang Cheng tunnelengineering in Lin Xia to He Zuo highway as example, according to the monitoring data,make an analysis on tale of tunnel surrounding rock stability, and make a comparativeanalysis with MIDAS/GTS finite element software. The main contents of this article are asfollows:(1) Briefing Shuang Cheng tunnel engineering and combining with current technicaldevelopments and regulatory requirements of monitoring measurement technology, thearticle introduces the program of monitoring measurement of Shuang Cheng tunnel. Itelaborates on monitoring method and frequency and layout of measuring points. The mainconclusions: the program of Shuang Cheng tunnel monitoring is in full compliance withregulatory requirements.(2) Through the introduction of surrounding rock stability judge methods andmonitoring data analysis methods, combine with the standard of tunnel monitoringmeasurement, using Origin software to analysis the crown settlement and horizontaldisplacement of cross section DZK19+340, to analysis the surface subsidence of crosssection DYK19+952, and discuss the best application time of secondary lining. The mainconclusions:①The general crown settlement and general horizontal displacement of cross sectionDZK19+340are meet the regulatory requirements. The curves of displacement and rateover time are in line with laws, surrounding rock of the cross section is in a stable state.②The general surface subsidence of cross section DYK19+952Tunnel exit crosssection DYK19+952meet the regulatory requirements, whose displacement and rate overtime are in line with laws.③The best time of secondary lining of cross section DZK19+340is the34th day which upper bench was excavated.(3) Simulating construction process of bench cut method and top heading method andbenching tunneling construction method with the aid of MIDAS/GTS, get the date of thecrown settlement and horizontal displacement of cross section DZK19+340, throughanalyzing and contrasting between measurement data and simulation results, obtain thebest excavation method of Shuang Cheng tunnel. The Main conclusions:①Simulation results of bench cut method indicate that the surrounding stress fieldand displacement fields and the force of primary support structure are in line with therequirements.②The general crown settlement and general horizontal displacement of cross sectionDZK19+340are more than simulation results of bench cut method and top heading method,less than simulation results of benching tunneling, but their curves of displacement andrate over time are in line with laws in parabolic increase trend.③From the perspectives of technology,economy and security, bench cut methodand construction working procedure are conform to the requirements of Shuang Chengtunnel.
