Railway signal micro-computer monitoring system is an important equipment, which isregarded as the "black box" of the signal depot, to ensure train safety, strengthen the signaljunction device management and monitor the quality of the use of railway signaling equip-ment.It’s a blend technology of modern new sensor technology, fieldbus, computer networkcommunication, database and software engineering technology, which monitors and recordsthe main running state to provide a scientific basis for signal depot to grasping the currentstate of the equipment and analysys accidents. The network structure of the microcomputer monitoring system is designed based on thecurrent situation of the railway. The upper lever network terminal contains the signal de-pots,railway bureaus and the Ministry of Railways, which has all function of the termi-nal.Along with the continuous expansion of railway network and the rapid development ofnetwork technology, signal microcomputer monitoring system, as the main equipment ofmaintenance management, should be more and more stable, efficiently and secure in commu-nication network.Recently, Peer-to-peer network technology has become a high and new technology, which has been developed rapidly.More and more softs based on the P2P technology in theseyears are popular.P2P technology differs from the centralized network structure which has aserver as the center of the net, transmission between the single points.P2P dislodges thecenter structure in resources storage, management, transmission and the close communica-tion.The resources are spread over each participant in the network, which can minimize theinfluence on the whole net.The resources in the P2P net are opening in storage, transmissionand the communication between the nodes, which equally get the shared resources offered byother nodes while providing resources to others. The stability, real time and reliability of thesysytem has been greatly improved in this way.The structure used in the current railway signal microcomputer monitoring system is thecentralized network structure.but due to long time continuously monitored parameters alongthe railway, the storage of all kinds of digital and analog quantity is huge.In addition becauseof low configuration of the current microcomputer monitoring station machine, it costs lots oftime in uploading data to the server, also costs so much resource of the monitoring machineswhich can adverse effects on monitoring. This paper proposes a new network system, which isnamed distributed network structure. It’s aimed to solve the problems of large load of the serv-er,low utilization of the sysytem resources, unbalanced load bearing and the bad stability ofthe sysytem. The structure is supported by P2P technology. The resources are distributed indifferent nodes of the net.In this way, the pressure of calculation and transmission on the net has been dispersed so as to improve stability of the system. The existing microcomputer mon-itoring system are analyzed and the peer-to-peer technology development present situation isdescribed in detail in this paper, and the design of a new type of computer monitoring systembased on P2P structure is completely described. The main work are follows:(1) The communication protocols between the client and server, clients has carried onthe detailed design, and the code has been completely written;(2) Aiming at the shortcomings of the current microcomputer monitoring system struc-ture, the microcomputer monitoring system has been re-networked.Centralized peer distributed network architecture proposed in this paper, can effectivelyreduce the load on the server, can improve the efficiency of each node in the network, and ul-timately improves the systems’s real-time, security, and reliability.
